Strengthen Anxiety Resilience in Kids with COMPASS at Home

Evidence-based ways to help your child build courage and emotional resilience

With practical tips, tools, and activities, COMPASS at Home helps parents empower kids to turn their worries into stepping stones toward personal growth and academic success. If you are concerned about your child's ability to manage anxiety, have observed them avoiding certain situations, or if their anxiety affects their overall wellbeing, COMPASS at Home may be a good fit for you.

Who is COMPASS at Home for?

COMPASS at Home is for parents of kids ages 8 to 14 seeking ways to support them in managing anxiety, fostering resilience, and laying a solid foundation for their future wellbeing. COMPASS at Home is not treatment or a replacement of treatment for a diagnosed anxiety disorder. We recommend seeking a licensed health professional for treatment concerns.

Anxiety is a Normal Emotion

But 1 in 5 kids experience anxiety that interferes with family, school, and their wellbeing. Left unmanaged, this type of anxiety can limit their reach into the world and their discovery of their place in it. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Anxiety is manageable and kids have a profound capacity to navigate it with strength, confidence, and courage.

Everyone is Courageous

In fact, courage resides in all of us. Sometimes, however, kids need a compass to help them recognize their inner courage and realize the very best versions of themselves. You are their compass. And we are your tools. And together, we can help kids uncover their courage, build resilience to stress, and confidently handle anxiety and other big emotions.
